The Miami Heat have today revealed details of their 80s inspired “Vice” Nike uniforms which the team will wear for select home and road games later this season. Miami’s Vice “City Edition” jerseys start with the classic Heat silhouette from 1988 and the original Miami Arena script across the chest, but the familiar red and orange color scheme has been swapped out in favor of laser fuchsia and blue gale.
According to the Miami Herald, the Heat’s full Vice merchandise line including t-shirts and hats will be available to Heat fans everywhere starting on Wednesday. The Heat will take the court in the Vice uniforms for the first time on Thursday, January 25th when they host the Sacramento Kings. In total, the 80s-themed “City Edition” jerseys will be worn 13 times this season, including some road games.
